Statuses, last seen and confirmations

What Working, Not confirmed, Temporarily closed and Not working mean, and how listings stay confirmed.

  • Working: online, confirmed in the last 30 days.
  • Not confirmed: nobody has confirmed it in 30 days. It still shows, with the date of the last confirmation.
  • Temporarily closed: you closed it, usually with a reopening date.
  • Not working: you marked it not working, or it's on a heartbeat or feed and hasn't reported in 2 hours.

Machines that are not working are hidden from search results unless someone asks to see them, so nobody drives to a dead machine.

Staying confirmed

A listing counts as confirmed when you tap Confirm working (one machine or many from the table), when your machine sends a heartbeat or feed update, or when a customer checks in after using it. Every listing shows how long ago that was and who confirmed it.

When a machine on a feed stops reporting, we email the account owners once per outage, and clear it as soon as the machine reports again. On Pro, uptime watch alerts sooner and on more channels.
