What the law requires of operators here:
- Ban: No one may locate, operate or make available a virtual currency kiosk in Vermont, or allow a third party to.
- Refunds and holds: For kiosk transactions before the ban, defrauded new customers who reported within 90 days get a full refund with fees; existing customers get the fees. Any transaction after July 1, 2026 must be refunded in full on request.
