Crypto ATMs are banned in Indiana

Kiosks are prohibited in Indiana, effective on passage (signed March 9, 2026).

Machines still listed here may be gone or switched off. If anyone tells you to pay at a crypto ATM, it's a scam.

What the law requires of operators here:

  • Ban: "A person may not operate a virtual currency kiosk in Indiana."

Not legal advice. Last checked October 28, 2026 against IC 28-8-7 (HEA 1116, 2026). Sources: Indiana HEA 1116 (2026), enrolled act
