Delete your account

Only operators have accounts on Bitcoin Scouts. Finding machines, saving them and getting alerts in the app needs no account.

In the app

Settings → Operator account → Delete my account.

On the website

Sign in with your email and come back to this page: sign in.

By email

Write to hello@bitcoinscouts.com from your account's email address. We delete it within 30 days.

What's deleted and what isn't

• Deleted: your email, name, sessions and claim requests.
• Kept: machine listings and the edits made to them, which are public data.
• Kept: payment records, for as long as accounting law requires.
• If you're an operator's last owner, you hand it to a teammate or release it (it goes back to unclaimed). Cancel any paid plan first.
