Practical hurdles

  • Host stores face liability too: the AG can act against a premises owner who knowingly allowed a kiosk.
  • Scam pressure context: FBI IC3 counted 242 crypto-kiosk complaints from this state in 2025 with $6,114,195 in adjusted losses (FBI notes losses may include non-kiosk transactions).

What we couldn't confirm

  • Any AG enforcement under the ban since 2026-03-09: none found.
